We were recently called into a residential building in Long Island City where a small boiler fire created a big mess in the force hot-air building. Like many highrise residential buildings in New York City forced hot-air is used to heat the building in the wintertime, and move fresh cool air throughout the building the rest of the year. The system relies on ductwork that begins in the basement. So when the fire in the basement broke out the soot and dust that was created quickly filled the air ducts and left a mess in many apartments within the building.

We were prepared and ready to clean the ducts from the basement to each and every apartment to ensure a clean and healthy environment for all residents.
